Dr. Justin Lovelace, Assistant Principal, 8th Grade

Justin Lovelace is a native of Gaffney, SC. and attended Winthrop University. His teaching career began at Lady’s Island Middle School in Beaufort, SC as an English, Science, and Social Studies teacher. After returning to Gaffney to pursue an M.Ed. At Converse College, Dr. Lovelace has worked as a district Science and Social Studies leader, TAP Master teacher, Literacy Coach, Math Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal. After retiring from South Carolina, Justin quickly determined that his heart was not ready for retirement; there was still work to be done in the profession that he loved so much and quickly returned to the field of education. 

Justin is the oldest of five children coming from a family of educators. When not at school, Justin enjoys spending time with his extensive extended family and friends. 

Jennifer Adams, Assistant Principal, 6th Grade

Hello, I am pleased to be the 6th grade assistant principal. I began my teaching career at AMS. I have returned as an administrator. AMS is my home.  I taught ELA and Social Studies for 16 years before moving into administration. My goal is to ensure a quality education for all students. When I am not working, I enjoy time with my family, traveling, music, and learning new things. I look forward to a great year!
